Clear booking terms before you pay.

1. Who you are buying from

2. The services

The description, duration and total price of each service are shown on the relevant website page before you pay. Coaching and diagnostics are delivered online unless we agree otherwise in writing.

OET coaching is educational support and exam preparation. It does not guarantee a particular OET score, professional registration, employment outcome or visa result.

The Judy Method is an independent coaching service and is not affiliated with, operated by or endorsed by OET.

3. Payment and booking

Payment is taken through the payment link shown on the relevant page. Your contract with The Judy Method is formed when payment is accepted and the service is confirmed. I will then contact you using the details you provide to arrange the session or first session.

The price shown is the total price charged by The Judy Method for the service described. If you pay from outside the UK, your bank or card provider may apply its own currency-conversion or transaction charges.

I will provide confirmation of the service and the applicable terms by email or another format you can save, no later than when the service begins.

4. Your 14-day cancellation right

If you are buying as a consumer online, you normally have 14 days from the day the contract is made to cancel without giving a reason.

To cancel, email judy@thejudymethod.co.uk with a clear statement that you want to cancel. You may use the model form below, but you do not have to.

If you cancel within the 14-day period before any service has started, I will refund the amount you paid. Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method.

5. Starting the service within 14 days

I will not treat a booking date inside the 14-day cancellation period as permission to waive your statutory rights. If you want me to begin the service during that period, I will ask you to make an express request for early performance.

If you then cancel before the service is fully completed, you may have to pay a reasonable amount for the part of the service already supplied. If the service is fully completed during the 14-day period after your express request, your right to cancel can end once you have acknowledged that this will happen on full performance.

6. Rescheduling sessions

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule a booked coaching session. I will always try to deal reasonably with genuine emergencies. This rescheduling policy does not reduce any statutory cancellation rights you have.

7. Four-session packages

A four-session package is a fixed block of four 45-minute coaching sessions with the support described on the Packages page. We will arrange the timing of the sessions together. If you exercise a statutory cancellation right after part of the service has already been supplied at your express request, any refund may be reduced by a proportionate amount for the service already supplied.

8. Diagnostic service

The diagnostic is a 60-minute session plus the analysis and written feedback described on the Diagnostic page. Where a recording would be useful, it will only be made with your permission. Privacy information is set out in the Privacy Policy.

9. If I need to change or cancel a session

If I need to cancel or move a session, I will offer a reasonable alternative date. If we cannot agree an alternative for a paid but undelivered service, I will refund the relevant amount.

10. Problems or complaints

If something is not right, please contact me first at judy@thejudymethod.co.uk so I can try to resolve it promptly. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
